As the founder of the Texas Style Council, I was tasked with creating an event that brought together female content creators, bloggers, and small business owners in a way that was unique and meaningful. The challenge was to design an experience that fostered both learning and networking while making it memorable for everyone involved. With minimal help and a small budget, I needed to design a conference that could become a recurring event, drawing in a larger audience year over year.

I ideated and organized the first annual Texas Style Council conference, working from the ground up: securing sponsors, designing the event’s content, creating the branding, and organizing logistics. I developed a strategy to provide real value to attendees by offering unique networking opportunities, panels, and interactive sessions with industry leaders. Through careful curation of speakers and content, I made sure the event was not only informative but also inspiring. Over the next five years, I led a team (with some help from an intern and volunteers) that expanded the event and made it one of the go-to conferences for female bloggers and small business owners in the style and lifestyle space.
