Colored Denim Addiction: Photographic Evidence, Exhibit A

My obsession with colored denim continues. It all started with mint green jeans, and shortly thereafter, I snagged a pair of bright pink jeans from Savers. This outfit photo was snapped last month before my baby bump swelled to much larger proportions, and I doubt that either the jeans or the blouse fit me now. They were quite snug when I got them, but they were both such great finds that I could not pass them up. *gulp* Here's to hoping they'll fit me after Baby Two is born... or here's to hoping Buffalo Exchange will give me a pretty penny for them!

I feel like I've seen variations of this gingham shirt / bright jeans combo everywhere. I'm not quite sure from whom I cribbed this ensemble (most likely Jen, KelseyKendi, or Jessica), but I am digging it's casual summer vibe. Since my outfit photo was a bit lackluster (thus why I hesitated posting it), I did my best computer collaging here and made this just for you:

A word about colored denim, nude shoes, and citrine jewelry:
All of the above are addicting. You will find yourself adding more and more of the above to your closet, convinced they go with everything! I now have jeans in mint, pink, pale salmon, and red (and I'm on the hunt for cobalt blue and sunshiny yellow). Every shoe I'm drawn to is flesh toned, and I just ordered this citrine bezel ring because the matching earrings have found a permanent home on my lobes. Don't be surprised if you run into me in town sporting a variation of this outfit for the rest of the summer... or at least until I can no longer shoehorn myself into my pants.
