Gift Ideas: Dirty Santa / White Elephant Gift Exchange

I once went to a Dirty Santa gift exchange and SOMEONE CRIED. Someone cried because no one fought over her gift. It was oven mitts. Oven mitts are FINE but what makes a Dirty Santa gift exchange FUN is when people fight over the gifts. The goal? Bring something that will make people LOL or that causes a friendly rumble. Don’t bring a gag gift. Someone else will do that. For real: Cap once got a douche at a White Elephant at his work and c’mon. Don’t be that person. Here are some things that will help you make Dirty Santa more fun all under $20:

Row 1:

  1. Puzzle with a Locked $20 Bill: You have to add the $20 bill, but the bill can’t come out until the puzzle is solved.

  2. Snow Globe with Gift Card: Shake things up with a festive snow globe, containing a gift card. You supply the gift card. My idea? Hide it under a photo of your boss or a someone like The Rock.

  3. Prank Box - Butt Wiping Brush Edition: The perfect Trojan horse for a hilarious twist. Watch as the initial confusion turns into uproarious laughter when the real gift is revealed. Put something good inside.

Row 2:

4. Box of International Snacks: Food (after alcohol) is always a hit at Dirty Santa gift exchanges. Take taste buds on a world tour with a selection of international snacks. A journey of flavors awaits the lucky recipient.

5. Finger Chopsticks: Have you seen these? They are ridiculous in the best way. They’re knuckle chopsticks, specifically designed for the desk eater or gamer. A fun and functional gift for the adventurous eater that keeps your fingers, keys, and controllers food debris and grease-free.

6. Japanese Kit Kats: Indulge their sweet tooth with a box of Japanese Kit Kats in 10 varieties of unique and delightful flavors. A sweet surprise that stands out in the sea of standard chocolates. Bonus: maybe the winner will share!

Row 3:

7. "From Crook to Cook" by Snoop Dogg: Bring the rap game to the kitchen with Snoop Dogg's cookbook. A surprising and entertaining addition to any culinary library.

8. Rechargeable USB Lighter: Any time I need a lighter, I cannot find one. I have a hunch other people feel the same way. Spark fascination with a sleek rechargeable USB lighter. A practical gift with a modern twist.

9. Death Wish Coffee - The World's Strongest Brew: Keep the party energized with Death Wish Coffee, known as the world's strongest brew. The jolt they didn't know they needed.

Row 4:

10. Hollow Dictionary with a Combination Lock: Gift intrigue and mystery with a hollow book that requires a combination to unlock its secrets. The perfect blend of disguise and surprise. If you want, add something inside.

11. 10 ft. Phone Cords and Extra Chargers: End the perennial quest for disappearing chargers with this practical yet oddly coveted gift. Length matters in the charging game.

12. 32 Double AA Batteries: This is the unexpected hero of every Dirty Santa party. Watch as the room transforms into a battleground over this power-packed prize. Everyone needs more AA batteries!

PROCEED WITH CAUTION: Gag gifts. Protect the vibe!

AVOID: Alcohol. You just never know who struggles with that, especially during the holiday season.
