Name that thing!

Test run: early 90's jumper romper shorts suit THING scored from Savers on Labor Day.

I don't even know what to call this. This outfit is kind of ridiculous. I am pretty sure that Donna Martin had this exact jumper thing in the original 90210. It's shorts! It's a button down! It's a vest! It's sleeveless! It has pockets! It has a zipper! It's all one piece!

Speaking of ridiculous (and television), this morning I finally decided not to do that reality tv show I wrote about last week. I have been going back and forth on my decision for the last few days. Thank you so much for your input. Truly, I appreciate it! I decided not to do it for the pure and simple fact that I just didn't feel comfortable going for it this year. I'm still up for the writers program at NBC and my braces are coming off in a week, so I'll be up for more acting projects closer to home. Also, I was feeling really pressed for time to make a stellar audition tape. Most importantly, I'm going visit my grandma in Indiana for the Seymour Oktoberfest in a few weeks, and I didn't want to have to give that up since filming will conflict with that. My grandma is 87 years old, and she raised me. I visit her every single year in October, and although she's not sick or ailing, I really don't know how many more Oktoberfests we'll have together. This year my aunt and uncle and cousins and Hubs will all be at the Oktoberfest, too. I wouldn't miss it for the world.

I could think of a million reasons why I shouldn't do the reality show, but I could only think of one reason why I should. It was a tough choice, but I feel comfortable with my decision. In fact, I'm way more comfortable in this decision than I am in this weird jumper shorts suit outfit thing!
