Street Style: Yelp's StyleXpolsion at The Mohawk

Austin Fashion Week is in full effect. Last night was the Yelp StyleXplosion party at the Mohawk, and Kevin over at Yelp got my friend Carmen and me on the guest list. Swanky!

The place was packed with hundreds of folks way worthy of gracing the virtual pages of Adored Austin, but because it was so packed, I truly was only able to make enough elbow room to grab two snapshots. Next time I'll move people out of my way and I'll be aggressive, b-e aggressive.

Zion

name: Zion
occupation: actress/ model (repped by Agence Talent)
dress: thrifted from a New Mexico boutique
boots: vintage via Buffalo Exchange

Zion is, perhaps, Austin's busiest REAL model (i.e. not a promotional "model"). She was not walking in the Yelp show (as they were using Yelp users, instead), but nonetheless, she still looked like she was fresh off a runway (per usual).

Rebecca

name: Rebecca
dress: modern girls online (???) Jenny Han via Gomatta Girls

Rebecca was hanging out in the balcony, and she insisted that she wasn't very photogenic. Nonsense! This photo is fantastic, and she (and her dress) look great. I love that she added the belt. The peachy pink color is stellar with her skin tone, and after seeing it on her, it may have become my second favorite color, ever. It was very, very loud at the party, so I didn't quite catch where she said she got it (sounded like "online!" and "modern girls!"), but I just spent the last 30 minutes trying to find that or something that sounds like that on Google. I do not recommend doing said search yourself. I found lots of porn on accident. Gross! Rebecca, if you're reading this, we need more info about this amazing dress! We also need less porn on the Google, but I doubt dear Rebecca can do anything about this.

UPDATE [8:30 a.m.]: I just got an email from Rebecca this morning, and turns out "modern girls" wasn't even close. She got it at the amazing site Gomatta Girls and it just so happens to be a Jenny Han. Sweet!
